Economic Evaluation of Mineral Deposits
This 3 x half-day online course is designed for engineers and scientists with little or no knowledge of economic analysis.
This course will run in 3 x 4 hour slots on separate days.
9:00am -1.00pm on each day, with short breaks. Training exercises will be set between each formal presentation, with worked examples.
The course will cover the following topics: Global valuation codes, constructing a model, practical modelling techniques, estimating the inputs, the estimation, use and usefulness of financial metrics, estimating risk and uncertainty. The course will draw liberally from the presenter's experience throughout the globe, and attendees will complete exercises on selected examples. Worked examples will be provided.
Basic Excel spreadsheet skills are needed for this course.
